Do you want to save lives and make a difference in your community?

If so we would love to have you volunteer at one of our 11 fire districts. Each district has its own requirements but in general, the base requirements are listed below. Some districts do have a junior program for volunteers under 18.

Please note: Firefighting is a dangerous job that requires intensive training and significant time to ensure personal safety and the safety of those around you.

General Membership Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Complete the application. Process includes criminal background check and medical physical.
• A valid drivers license
• Attend Station Trainings and Meetings
• 20 Hours a month in participation
• A clean background and drug test
